Hi! It’s me. I’m the founder; it’s me!

Delightful Little Life is a woman-owned paper goods company creating greeting cards, postcards, stickers, magnets, and prints.

We exist to fill the gap larger companies often ignore: small joys & victories, different kinds of grief, quiet growth, strange transitions, nontraditional milestones, and all the in-between spaces deserving of acknowledgment.

We do not exist to peddle toxic positivity or performative allyship.

Origins

From our founder, Sarah:

“Delightful Little Life came out of the worst year of my life. I was deep in burn out and my mental health was dark. I was broken, struggling to rebuild myself, barely hanging on…and then my sister died. So yeah, 2024 was not my favorite year to say the least.

Of the many reasons why I started Delightful Little Life, the 2 biggest are these:

1. Life is too f*cking short.

2. Spite

Spite may seem odd, but watching bigots & greedy billionaires play with our lives like we’re nothing stoked a rage. When you’ve been through hell, joy feels like heaven, and it was gonna be a cold day in hell before I let these f*ckers take away our joy without a fight.

So I built Delightful Little Life.

Our Values

  • In a world that gets grayer by the day, find the joys, big or small. Make it tangible.  Make it bright and colorful.   Prioritize it.  Fight for it.  Fight for others to have it.

    How we live this value: In our content, aesthetic, & ethos.

  • Life is not sunshine and moonbeams. At times it hard, painful, joyful, hectic, and everything in between.

    To not reflect the spectrum of life with honest emotion and humor is disingenuous.

    How we live this value: The absence of toxic positivity or performative allyship in our content. Transparency where and when possible.

  • Supporting vulnerable, marginalized, and historically-excluded communities to feel seen, thought about, and less alone is the heart and soul of this company.

    How we live this value: Thoughtful, intentional designs. Removing jerks & shit-stirers from socials so other users have a safe space.

  • Though we live in a capitalistic society, DLL is capitalism-lite. We’re much more interested in making cool shit for our customers than siphoning every bit of money into the owner’s pockets.

    How we live this value: Accessible price points with the highest quality possible. Transparency in how we run our business and where profits/donations are going.

  • Putting resources towards sustainable areas of growth, without compromising product quality, employee experience & compensation, and the trust of our customer base.

OUR PURPOSE

Joy doesn’t have to be loud to be real. It can live in a postcard. In a sticker on your laptop. In a card that says exactly what you didn’t know how to say.

Delightful Little Life is built on the belief that:

  • Moments and people who go unrecognized still deserve to be seen.

  • Meaningful connection should never be a luxury.

  • Creativity is stronger when it’s shared.

  • Justice isn’t a trend, it’s the baseline.

Everything created here is guided by people over profit, collaboration over competition, and authenticity over mass appeal.
